When I started Fundamental Global in 2012, Joe Moglia was not only my largest investor but he and I decided to co-found Fundamental Global together. He has been the Chairman and I have been the CEO since the beginning. My partnership and friendship with Joe is very special to me.
In founding Fundamental Global, we shared the strong conviction that markets are not always efficient, and that fundamental research can lead to asymmetric risk/reward opportunities that have tremendous upside potential relative to their downside risk. Since we are fundamental investors that invest globally, we called the company Fundamental Global Investors and we look for companies and assets across all sectors where we believe we can add value.
